Time for some true Classic Bayerische Motoren Werke, BMW's iconic 3.3 Li was a direct response to Mercedes-Benz's W116 S-Class launch in 1972. The 3.3 Li's wheelbase was extended by four inches and featured a stroked six-cylinder engine, elevating the capacity to 3.3 litres. The engine delivered 190 bhp at 5,500 rpm, and the added torque ensured a swift and effortless ride. The 3.3 Li may have been smaller than the S-Class, but it was more than a match in terms of luxury.
